I’ve just started out on my astronomy hobby, and I thought I’d document its progress here. It’s a hobby I’ve always thought about pursuing but life always seemed to get in the way. Now I can afford all the proper equipment for it, including all of the best books. My ultimate goal like so many amateur astronomers is to become involved in astrophotography.
So, for the moment, I’m still a baby astronomer, finding my way around.
Here is the environment I am dealing with. . .
Only light from the brightest objects can penetrate Seoul’s atmosphere . . . However, I have had some great views of the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn.
